Saphira Web Design - Terms and Conditions

Contract: Signing of this document is a contractual agreement between the client and SWD. Important: Approval for the work to commence and payment of the deposit of 50% indicates that the client accepts the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

SWD Intellectual Copyright: SWD will hold intellectual copyright of all material, including source code and original images created by SWD for the client until payment of the final invoice. At this time full ownership will transfer to the client.

Registration Charges: All costs such as registration of a domain names and hosting charges are included in all quotes however, SWD recommends clients register their own domain names through our Internet services gateway. We can do it on the client’s behalf and agree that the domain name will be registered in the clients name and not ours.

Search Engine Promotion: SWD are not responsible for on-going web site promotion. SWD will submit to search engines on completion of the site only. Should the client require the site to be promoted on an ongoing basis, it must be done under one of our care packages. We can not controlle the way the search engines rank your site. While we can optimise your site for better rankings we are unable to make any guarantees about the success of any search engine promotion activity. However we can suggest ways you can improve your presence on the WWW.

Quotations: The price quoted to the client is for the work listed on the quotation only. Should the client decide that changes are required after work on the website commences, then we will accept these changes with the provision that additional charges may have to be negotiated.

Advance Payment: An advance of 50% of the total cost of the project is required after acceptance of the design and before work can commence. This is non-refundable after work has commenced.

Payment terms: Payment is currently accepted by Business / Bank cheque, cash, postal order, direct bank transfer, or our Pay pal gateway. If a cheque is returned by the bank as unpaid for any reason, the client will be liable for a "returned cheque" charge of $40.

Credit Card Payments: Credit card payments can also be accepted via our Pay pal electronic invoice system.

Payment: Payment of any balance will be due within 14 days of final invoice date. If this goes unpaid and there is no response to our notice of payment reminders, the site will be removed until final payment is made.

Future Support: Once final payment is received it is understood the site is complete. After sales support is available free of charge; however this does not include updates or changes to the website.
